Admire

I'm blind by what he does not see,

the love you give could rescue me.

Why do some men with it all,

never see it, let it fall?

They turn from love, give into lust,

abandon faith, destroying trust.

A beautiful wife with children at home,

yet still they choose to cheat and roam.

A foolish thought with selfish choices,

ears are closed to crying voices.

Bitter forgiveness from those pain filled lessons.

A love that’s now damaged can only be lessened.

Yet still you move on as you push pain aside,

pick up those pieces of tears you now hide.

Your strength and that wisdom will grow everyday,

the love for those children will not go away.

Hold on to your faith, that strength and desire,

For these are the traits, I will always admire.

This beauty you possess to me,

would seem to last eternally.
